What are Core Values?
Core values are not just words, they are the invisible compass that guides your choices, and that shapes your perception of the world. They are the principles that are most important to you, and that will influence all the decisions that you make along the way. Understanding your core values is the first step in discovering your true purpose, and in creating a life that is filled with integrity, and meaning.
Examples of Values:
Here are some examples of values that are often tied to a life of purpose:
Authenticity, Compassion, Courage, Creativity, Freedom, Honesty, Service, Justice, Family, Innovation, and many more.
Take a moment to reflect on this list. Which ones spark a feeling in your heart? Which ones resonate with your own unique perspective on the world?

How to Live in Alignment with Your Values:
Living a life that is aligned with your values can be difficult, but here are a few things that you can do, to make the road a little bit smoother:
Become aware: Make sure that you are always making an effort to stay true to yourself, and to align your actions with your own unique values.
Create a plan: Write a list of all the core values that are most important to you, and then take a step back, to reflect on the way that you are living your life, to see if you can create even more of a sense of connection.
Forgive yourself: No one is perfect. You might take a step back from time to time, and you might need to reset your compass. It is okay to be imperfect, and to simply keep moving forward.
